Life can be tough and rough! It is pretty much a roller coaster ride. Some find this more exciting than others. If our life would be without any highs and lows, we would flatline! That's called 'being dead'. Life is supposed to be full of surprises, dips and ascends, it can slow down and feel hyper-fast. Life is by design full of changes. Nature is a wonderful role model for those inevitable changes. A tree is bare throughout winter and then in its own time starts to blossom.
Have you heard that 'Actions speak louder than words?' A smile shared with a stranger, a warm hug given to a friend, time spend together whilst playing games with our family, going for a walk in the forest with our parents, helping in our local community, giving an incentive to our staff members, doesn't this list feel good. When we imagine being on the receiving side, how does that make us feel? When we imagine being on the giving end, how does that make us feel? Over the la
Who...Marie Kondo? Yes, the Tidy-lady from Netflix and best-selling books is influencing the appearance of our wardrobes, closets, drawers, keep-sakes, bookshelves around the world and I wonder WHY! Inspired by my friend Lisa, who mentioned Marie Kondo I undertook the experiment to transform our house, well parts of it, in her unique way. I watched a few episodes and soon it was clear, why this is so popular.
Marie Kondo has a talent and obviously packaged her offerings righ
Clearly, the odds are against this tree stump. Look at it. Fallen after years of growth. Can you hear the chain-saw rattling and revving, the tree giving in to its destiny. It is what it is. Most likely that old tree has lived through a vast diversity of weather conditions, and had encounters with many animals and humans. Have you heard people say: 'It is what it is!'
When life is what it is, we experience and accept the whole of life: a range of emotional rollercoasters, sc
What is going on? Coconut water, coconut milk, coconut oil, coconut flakes, coconut yogurts, coconut pieces, coconut flakes, coconut flour, and now even coconut shampoo and when I bought my first Dr. Organix coconut day and night cream, I thought I am going nuts! I am a therapist and coach, so do not worry, I have got some tools to stay sane.... Photo by Josiah Weiss on Unsplash Since finishing a crazy good 90 day WildFit Challenge I have transformed into a coconut! Haha, wel
Sitting in the midst of 10 keen students, some sceptical and some knowing already that HYPNOSIS is working, I find myself learning a new technique for my Hypno-tool-box? (Kinetik Shift!) To my amazement, even I took away a massive boost of confidence for my 'trade' as a watched and participated in more training, learning and practising. The few people in the room who never experienced trance/hypnosis before, understood that it is their own imagination which the hypnotist is a
...you just want to know the How, right?
I always knew that I want to be a mum, this was a crystal clear vision like an image or a movie in my head. I could imagine pushing or even go running with the buggy, looking at a smiley happy baby. I knew that life would change, no doubt! Change is part of life, I was prepared for a big change. It did not phase me at all: At some point in life, I wanted to become a mum. Nowadays I call this manifesting or visioneering, back then I wo

Isn't it so strange that we all have enough time, and then again so little time. TIME played a major role in a recent event of mine. It was my absolute privilege to be part of TIME talks, in San Diego. This event is, I believe the new TEDtalk. If you have not heard of the latter, I
A nice person recently asked me this question: 'Are you successful? You know with your....what is it called? Therapy? Coaching? You know, the stuff you are doing?'
To my surprise, I was speechless and in my head I heard: 'Hell yes, I am successful.'
Have you been in a situation like that?
The second after, I questioned myself: 'Am I successful? I am seeing clients and they seem to gain something. Do I have enough clients to say I am successful? How many hours of the wee
